Scott Cunningham: Head Coach

Josh Reis: Director of Player Personnel
Josh Reis heads up the player personnel department for the Bighorns and works with the Scouting Department.
Reis has had a long tradition of coaching in the Seattle area. Prior to joining the Bighorns in 2009-2010, Reis spent two prior years with the Seattle Totems (NORPAC) where he was an assistant coach and assisted in team administration. Reis also served as head coach of the Puget Sound Tomahawks during the 2007-2008 season.
Pat Norlin: Assistant Coach
Pat Norlin joins the Bighorns as Assistant Coach for the 2013-2014 season, his first with the club. Norlin spent the 2012-2013 season as the Head Coach of the Wenatchee Wild 16U AAA team. The team won the Washington State Championship and lost in the semi-final of the Pacific District Tournament. Norlin lead the team to the NAPHL playoffs with a 15-5-2 record in league play. Norlinʼs team was stellar on both the power play (21.65%) and penalty kill (91.25%). Aside from the day to day operation of the team, Norlin ran off-ice workouts, study table, educational and billet liaison, video analysis and travel. In order to build an elite midget club, Norlin recruited 18 out-of-area players from around North America.
The 2011-2012 campaign was spent with Coach Norlin co-coaching the top Bantam AAA team in Washington (Wenatchee Jr Wild). The squad lost in the semi-final of the Pacific District Tournament. Since 2011 Norlin has had several players that have been drafted in the WHL bantam draft, USHL (Entry), USHL (futures), NAHL draft and signed tenders with Junior clubs.
From 2008-2012 Norlin worked for the Wenatchee Wild (NAHL) where he performed duties that included: skill sessions, scouting and even color commentary on the radio for fasthockey. Norlin has also Head Coached a Squirt and PeeWee team in recent years. His injury-filled playing career was spent with the Kootenai Colts (NPHL) and Puget Sound Tomahawks (NPHL) in the mid 2000ʼs.
At 27 years old, Norlin is bringing a wealth of experience to the Bighorns, not only as a bench boss but with player development, recruiting and administrative work. Norlin is extremely excited to be moving to Helena Montana and joining the Bighorns in their quest for another National Championship.
